Supported Workshop Participation: Individuals referred by WBMHS may be eligible for subsidised or free access to a range of practical workshops hosted by Eight Acres Permaculture. These workshops cover topics such as resilience skills, gardening, preserving, and other homesteading skills that foster a sense of empowerment and connection to the natural world. The Resilience Village Online Community: Embrace a supportive and engaging online community at the Resilience Village (resiliencevillage.com.au). This platform connects Western Australians passionate about permaculture, self-sufficiency, and building resilience in the face of modern challenges. Share knowledge, find support, and learn practical skills from the comfort of your own home - membership is free!
Southern Forest Self-Sufficiency: An online and in-person group that is all about creating local networks to facilitate community wellness and resilience. Meeting at a variety of community gardens and individual homes, this group not only shares real skills, but gets hands-on in helping their community members with various projects. This is one of our grass-roots projects that is facilitated by us and the people in communities.
NDIS Funded Nature-Based Counselling For Children Through WILD Ones Forest School: For individuals with NDIS funding, we offer immersive counselling experiences through WILD Ones Forest School. This unique approach utilises the therapeutic benefits of nature in a forest school setting.
