Who We Are
We are a registered, Not-For-Profit charity with DGR status, as well as MRFF agreements and DVA partnership. WBMHS works with other service providers and government agencies, including those that offer EAP to their employees. Based in the Southern Forests and Valley’s, we cover an area of almost 30,000sqkm with just under 50,000 people.
Our core goal is to address the domestic violence crisis by creating a comprehensive village for mental wellbeing that includes safe housing for women and children fleeing unsafe environments. This is a chance to reshape the future of rural wellbeing by creating a sanctuary of hope and resilience where none currently exists.
